Tyndall Stone

Our family has always enjoyed an outdoor lifestyle and we have been blessed to live in such an incredible place.
Between our city and mountain homes we, including our kids and now grandkids, have spent many happy days enjoying what British Columbia has to offer. When we aren’t enjoying our homes in Whistler and Vancouver,
we offer them for visitors to rent.

neutral backdrop + pop of colour

Sadly the motivation for this renovation was that the building had a serious fire. It did give me the opportunity to turn this rather boring “builder beige” condo into something more modern with upgraded finishes. The condo has high vaulted ceilings and lots of window. The original fireplace had a HUGE log & stone fireplace. That had to go. I wanted the small footprint of this property to have a WOW factor when entering. I had custom oversized walnut solid-core barn doors made for the two bedrooms, each with exaggerated hardware. The mantel was made to match the door. Frosted glass in the loft area not only has a modern look but also creates more privacy. Pops of colour were added to enhance the neutral backdrop.

Projects

My work is such an important part of my day and life. As well as running my companies, I also take on solo interior design projects. From brainstorming with other designers to pulling together finishes and fixtures for a project, I love every part of the design process.
