Propspect

In every project that I have done there is a common aspect, that the following elements are present in each &a every one; water (represented by glass), metal, earth (usually in the form of concrete) & wood.
Having these elements together creates a harmonious environment.

inside + outside harmony

It’s always been my dream to renovate a ’50s rancher. This house couldn’t have been more perfect. It was in such good shape yet hadn’t had a face lift in decades. Tearing it back to the 2 x 4s was the right thing to do. It effectively went from a 3 bedroom and 2 bath house, to a 1 bedroom home with 2 offices, 3 bathrooms & an amazing 1 bedroom suite. The incredible view was taken into consideration with every decision made. To enhance the view I chose store front windows that went to the floor, much to the concern of the architect I hired to help with some engineering decisions. I’m so happy with the windows. You get a sense that you can step out into the great outdoors from every window. A large wraparound deck was added with Nanawall doors opening up every room. I had Nanawall make a fold away window in the kitchen to open it up to a “sit at” bar on the deck. The entire project created such a harmony between the inside and outside.

Projects

My work is such an important part of my day and life. As well as running my companies, I also take on solo interior design projects. From brainstorming with other designers to pulling together finishes and fixtures for a project, I love every part of the design process.
